Dear Friends of CADEAUX du MONDE,

CADEAUX du MONDE would like to invited all of our family, friends, business associates and customers to consider a donation to our 2010 UNICEF Fundraising Campaign--our 24th year of coordinating a UNICEF benefit.

UNICEF is hard at work in over 150 countries around the world with a single mission: to do whatever it takes to save the lives of children. UNICEF is on the ground with permanent staff in every one of these countries, providing lifesaving health care clean water, improved nutrition, education and relief in times of emergency. 2010 was a very difficult year for children around the world with the devastating hurricanes in Haiti and Chile, the unprecedented flooding in Pakistan, the continuing conflicts in Sudan, the Congo, Afghanistan, and the list goes on and UNICEF has been on the ground in each of the aforementioned countries following their mandate of doing whatever it takes to save the lives of children .

UNICEF's innovative, low-cost but extremely effective solutions to the problems facing children have allowed UNICEF to save more children's lives than any other humanitarian organization.

Several local businesses have once again generously donated their space and placed the familiar bright orange countertop collection boxes nest to their cash registers for the entire month of October--National UNICEF month. The boxes can be found at Arnold Art, Hydrangea House Inn, Harbor Fine Art, Miniature Occasions & Dolls, Spring Bull Gallery, Firehouse Theatre, Newport Hardware, DeBlois Gallery and CADEAUX du MONDE.
